Greg Land is a reknowned comic book artist, best known for his work on characters such as the X-Men, Birds of Prey, and Fantastic Four.

Greg Land first got a job with an independent publisher as the artist for StormQuest after advertising himself at a Mid-Ohio Con comic convention. After that, he went over to DC Comics in 1999 and was hired to finish the covers for Birds of Prey based on the sketches of Brian Stelfreeze. He also had runs as interior penciller on both Birds of Prey and Nightwing. Later, Land began to work at CrossGen Comics, on a series called Sojourn. The series ran from July 2001 through May 2004, for a total of 34 issues.

After the fall of CrossGen, Land was able to move on to Marvel Comics, initially working on covers to various series. This led to a collaboration with writer Greg Pak as the main artist of X-Men: Phoenix – Endsong, which was extremely well received from both critics and fans. He then landed penciling duties on Mark Millar’s Ultimate Fantastic Four, which was followed by work on Ultimate Power, written by Marvel powerhouses Brian Michael Bendis, J. Michael Straczynski and Jeph Loeb. Land then returned to the X-Men characters with the Uncanny X-Men landmark issue #500, working on several story-arcs in the span of four years. More recently, he’s helped launch Iron Man (Vol. 5), Mighty Avengers (Vol. 2), Spider-Woman (Vol. 4), and the Secret Wars tie-in mini-series Future Imperfect, featuring The Maestro (a.k.a. The Hulk).

He is currently the artist on the recently relaunched Uncanny X-Men (Vol. 4), featuring ruthless X-characters Magneto, Psylocke, Sabretooth, Monet St. Croix, Mystique and Archangel. Marvel recently announced that Greg will join Cullen Bunn and a slew of other artists on the new series Monsters Unleashed in January 2017, as well as the new Weapon X in spring 2017.

Greg Land will be appearing at Niagara Falls Comic Con all three days.
